I might just go down there and say Dave sent me.
Everyone knows a 'Dave' in Essex.
Used to use that one years ago to blag myself into house parties, armed with 8 cans of Royal Dutch Beer !!! (easily swapped for Red Stripe, once you're in!!)
I bet the "Daves" of this world used to get a hard time in the morning....
"Come on, Dave, clear up, most of them were your mates anyway......."
