Default OBDII and CarPC

Has anyone got a serial OBDII lead which they don't mind demonstarting. I am considering adding one to my CarPC set-up, but would really like to see one in action first.

As there is a computer already in the car, it would be very easy to link up the serial OBD cable. Its just there are so many out there.

Any recommendations or anyone willling to demo what they have.

Many thanks,

Steve

I do apologise if I caused offence. I was only joking.

Any insults were firmly directed at the regulars on here (including myself), and I'm sure they'll all get their own back, many times over.

No offence taken, just seemed a lot of posts (which i have automatically set to receive notification emails for) which we'ren't answering the initial question.

Maybe i am just not 'tuned in' to this forum yet

Thanks for the replies any how.

John,

Yes they were thanks, its a good starting point.

The software i have in the car has virtual gauges for speed and a compass which are taken from the GPS receiver. Next step is to take data from OBD.

Thanks again,

Steve
