For those of us that don't get the newsletter I think it should be left up on here - mainly because it's a good review.
you are now up to speed on events vtech

Will the sunshine bring you to a lodge meet sometime soon ?
Read the other notes on Cookies original thread. I like the idea foz had of warning people before reading.
BUT......
Don't forget Diane puts a lot of effort into the news letter, if all reviews are read before it is published it may feel like a pointless exercise. I know some don't get to see the newsletter....
SO........
A thought I had - maybe all reviews could be sent to her (without exception, not a pop at anyone ) and when the news letter is released in paper format, an online one could be copied and pasted into here (ONLINE NEWSLETTER - MAY) from the originals for those that don't get to see the printed newsletter). I doubt it would take more that 5 mins to do (once the newsletter is finished that is).
Just a thought.

An elctronic version of the newsletter after it has been published sounds like a plan to me.

re: my other post.
This is madness now. 40000+ people might read Cookies post and then be inclined to go on the next ring trip ... whereas restricting reviews to just the newsletter means on 25-30 regulars will see them.
All these electronic versions and rules for stuff that goes in the newsletter are getting out of hand.
Put the reviews up on here in the meet posts and then the newsletter can carry them too for those that a) don't read them on here and b) don't come on here
p.s. bring back cookies review as per thread title!!!!!!!

There are many benifits to having an online newsletter where all the articles were in one place, instead of individuals posting up there own reviews (if they decided to).
1. people would be garanteed all reviews would be included.
2. you would only have to search for ESC ONLINE NEWSLETTER then you'd get...
ESC ONLINE NEWSLETTER - MAY
ESC ONLINE NEWSLETTER - JUNE
ESC ONLINE NEWSLETTER - JULY etc
Instead of happening across an article that takes your fancy! If it's on page 2 no one will see it!!
Sorry mate, but I can only see benifits to my idea and gives non (paper) newsletter readers a real insite into the ESC and what we get up to (the 40,000 people you mention).
When am I going to be able to buy you a pint to catch up?
Take it easy, leaving work in a bit to enjoy the sunshine!!

But Diane puts enough work into preparing the newsletter and chasing everyone up already, perhaps she doesn't have the time, knowledge or inclination to do an online version? (Not a dig at Diane as she may well have all three)
Why don't we just agree to have Cookies ring review posted back up once the newsletters have been distributed? In living memory this is the ONLY review that has caused so much fuss and is unlikely to be repeated.......

Nobody makes Diane do the newsletter. I just think it's a bit silly that bloody reviews that go up on here can't be put in the newsletter.
Not having a pop at Diane because she does indeed put a lot of effort in (and we are all very gratefull) but for those that don't get the newsletter it would be nice to see reviews of events after they have happened.
p.s. bring back cookies review!

I more or less agree with your point its just how it can be accomplished thats the problem.

The (quick) review was simply deleted.
On returning form the ring trip, i wished to share my exitement, and was met with IMO hostility. Rather than a polite request to keep it for later. So lost all interest
sorry

not having a pop with the ZZZZZ pics dude just reflecting that I'm bored of all the regulations that are coming out of the woodwork.
All the reviews get typed out and emailed to diane anyway so pm them to me and I'll copy and paste them into a thread. Will take me 30 secs at the most.
Anybody could do it.
Anyway .... where is cookies review. ????????

COOKIE, you may put the REVIEW up on here again, as we said "IT HAS BEEN READ," we wont use it,
But he wanted to DO ANOTHER for the NEWSLETTER??
Never got 1.
As for (GANGSTA) not getting a NEWSLETTER, come along 1 meet & pick 1 up???
AS for online NEWSLETTER, do as you like next month as ME & DIANE are getting married the week (normally collect reveiws) before & wont be around for Posers cruise, SOME1 will have to do next months newsletter anyway. Just ask for it to be online??
