As of June (8th) , we are going to try some new venues, the first being THE CROWN (Harvester) in Laindon.
Perhaps later in the year you may try to venture further a field so we can attract a few more people, i.e the Herfordshire lot.

Can't believe it .... End of an era, I have had a scooby for 5-6 years, and I have religiously attended the HH meet (missing only one in that time, due to a holiday). Shame the faceless person hasn't owned up to who they are.

When you go back through the original post, it seemed that there were several people who seemed to be unhappy with the H/H as a venue. Believe me, it is nowhere near as bad as the Dick Turpin got. However, I've only put up it COULD be the last meet, nothing is set in stone. As has already been said, a change is as good as a rest.

As I normally create the thread for the 2nd Thursday of every month meet, I will continue to call it the H/H meet, only it'll be held at different venues throughout the County. Hopefully with Flat Eric on the case, he'll be able to provide us all with the right directions.


I'm not a million miles away from you, I've got the ideal venue which is dead easy to find. It'll be interesting to see how many people venture down to these parts, the same way as we go out to them (Adidas throws down the challenge )

Guys, there should be an amnesty on who's posted under an alias....
i'm sure a lot of folks will join me in saying he/she hasn't really done anything wrong, and the longer this went the more i'm sure he/she feels victimised.

i for one say forget the whole matter and move on... its not what being a club is about and it takes a bigger man/woman to forgive, than to point the finger.
