cookstar it's just a public de-restricted toll road, so you should be covered.

Take a look here:-

hi guys,

sorry to butt in to this post but hopefully some one could give some advice to this track novice.

i'm sorta planning (september ish) to make a trip over to the ring in MY02 wrx and with my uncle in a evo8 340 an possibly a couple of fto's too.

i've never been one a track before., me an my uncle are booked in at brands hatch for one of thier rally experience days, but i don't think thats going to help much for goin to the Ring eh.

what sort of stuff should we be planning? should i get on to a track day over here first, i'd probally be up for a few laps an castle combe for japfest.

Anyone else fancy it?

You dont have to put your car on track. Plenty of other people to go out with on a passenger lap.

Just come along for the ride

sorry for sounding dumb mate, is the hotel 35 (single) per night?

After chatting to Maddog, he's convinced me wih some of his stories

If I do go, would probably do 1 lap to say I've done it, then blag some passenger rides, definately with Maddog (I promise I won't scream mate) and a ride in the RS Nevetas.....got to be done

Hiya

OK the hotel is 40 Euros (£27) Per Night Including Breakfast for a single room.

Or

60 Euros (£40) Per Night Including Breakfast for a double room.

Even if you only do 1 lap, the jouney out there, the atmosphere, the cars, it's worth going just for that
