Default Tomtom 500/700

Anyone got the above? I've checked the reviews on the web and it's mixed feelings.

Q1. How good is the bluetooth facility? Can the other party hear clearly?

Q2. Is it worth paying for the camera location downloads or is there a free site for this.

Ta anybody.

me n tiny have the 700

can deforecommend this, the bluetooth is fine, works very well, no need to subscribe to the services, you get a month free trial and after that you just go to pocketgps and download the database which is actually better as you can install gatso's, spec's, mobile, traffic light cameras and also the warning sounds.

i did tiny's last night, simply connect USB lead to pc & the TTG and drag and drop files, simple

Yep TOM TOM 700 Believe me is the way to go mate

I've Had 2 sat nav units in the last 6 months , But this is far superior than all the others , No messing about dropping & Dragging Maps of europe , Or making space on the memory card , My Tom Tom found us everywhere in Germany as you know , As you followed me all the way there

Sure that i see in Todays press argos are selling it @ £429.00

Ade .. More than welcome to use mine for a few days mate if you wish , Just to see how you get on with it .
