Nitrous or Bigger turbo?

Nitrous or Bigger turbo?
Lost the last thread on similar topic. Am still deciding whether to go down the nitrous route or bigger turbo/map route...
If I was to run Nitrous on my already tuned (tek3) uk M99 and add a nitrous system this will cause an overboost of 0.1/0.2bar...(max boost achieved in 5th gear anyway so wouldn't overboost to 1.4bar in say 2nd and 3rd gear?)
will the td04 be able to handle short bursts of 50bhp (25bhp nitrous shot) and 100bhp (50bhp nitrous shot)?
Just want a modification for drags only.
Also (andy) what exact mods would I require for achieving similar power (with on/off capability) via turbo route (safely)?
1. Bigger turbo (£500/700)
2. Remap (tek) (£200/300)
3. Fuel pump? (£110)
4. Injectors (has stock 440s anyway)?
5. FMIC? (£400/500)
6. Regulator
Adds up If it was £1000 for bigger turbo path vs £500/600 for nitrous path I would probably go for the bigger turbo.
Also the method of switching between boost settings (from stock for day to day driving @0.5bar to for faster driving) ...is it possible to switch while on the go?
All help/advice kindly received.

Thanks for the input JBM.
Am just looking at how a nitrous system would be fitted. One problem is that the nitrous/fuel jets must inject in the throttle body but there is not enough room for it to go into the pipe between the intercooler throttle...
how do you get around this?...any body done this?
BTW may get a bigger turbo too at a later date and use the N20 as an anitlag

All depends on which type of NOS system you go for, Wet, Dry or Direct Port. There is a chap at power engineering in Uxbridge who knows about this type of thing. Personally I'd get a bigger turbo first.

Have had a look under the bonnet and one problem I can see of installing it is the there is no space on the pipe between intercooler/trottle body where the N20 and fuel are to be injected...
Do I modify the intercooler mount or try and inject into the intercooler housing?
Any help appreciated.

there was an Evo7 at Oulton with 479 plus 100bhp nitrous FFS
asked graeme the instructor to take me out in it but the general concensus was that it was much too loopy for a damp oulton park (on road tyres)
