Thumbs up THE LODGE ( Pre Xmas meet ) Thursday 15th December
Oh yes it's that time again

Very close to the ESC Xmas meal this meet , But it's an excuse to get out & Sample some great food & In good company

THE LODGE COUNTRY INN

Thursday 15th December

Meeting from 6pm till closing

There will be a slightly different set up to the norm for this meet though , As now The Lodge is well into it's Xmas menu , The restaurant has 35 booking's already for this evening , So we have to give up our room just for this meet only.






Angela ( The Owner ) Has booted the Mercedes Benz owners club out of there position on the Stage ( Upper Bar area ) Just to accomadate us





They will be tucked around the corner out the way , As she likes us all






So upon arrivall to the Pub you will find the Raised Bar area ( The Stage ) All reserved just for us So for this month only this will be our temporary home , Of course we can spill out into the Bar area as well ( Depending on numbers )





Regarding the Smoking situation ( Mentioned on prev thread )


From January the Restaurant ( Our Room / Home on the 3rd Thurs ) Will be NON SMOKING , Please if you wish to Smoke can you please just wander into the Bar area / Garden ( In the better weather of course )






Please can all the Smokers honour this please , It has not been an easy descision to make , But one i / We feel had to be made , As a few people were getting offended by second hand smoke






So that is from The January meet onwards No Smoking in the Restaurant area only please




A Few of you may have noticed also @ the last meet that was held @ The Lodge , That it was closing for re furbishment in Jan , This is for 1 Week only & Will not affect our 1st Lodge meet in the new year on Thursday 19th.







But the surroundings will be even better , With new wall coverings , Tables , Chairs & Furniture throughout the Pub , So 06 ESC @ The lodge is getting Better & Better
