Dont know if anyone is interested, but i am keen fisherman, that specialises in carp and pike fishing.

I would like to know if anyone would be interested in 1 night/full days coarse fishing, before the winter sets in.

Im looking to go fishing from 6pm friday the oct 14th (date changed from sept 30th due to other venues )to sat 6pm the following day.

I have a couple of spare rods and a 2 man bivvy if someone would like to go with me, dont worry about sleeping bags chairs or food as i will be bringing it all.

If there is anyone who has his own fishing gear and would like to come please let me know.

venue: glouster park, basildon.

Fish: carp,roach,perch,bream,dace,gudgeon,tench

carp to 30llb+, bream around 4 to 8llb, tench to 10llb

night fishing allowed

price for night fishing with 2 rods is about £5. then a full days fishing is about £9, so £9+5 = £14. You pay the bailif not me.

please make sure you have a fishing licence that is valid.

Those were the days, used to fish on Gloucester Park in my yoof, also was in Basildon and District angling club and fished on the moat a fair bit, can't remember now what other waters they had, also fished Lake Meadows (Billericay) sometimes and was a member of Colony Lakes near Hadleigh for a few years. Don't have the time for it these days

Never fished a night on Gloucester Park though, too many stories of people waking up minus their fishing tackle due to the proximity of the place to less desirable parts of Basildon.

iv'e fished the lake for the past 15 years and never saw or had an incident, even stopping over night during the summer i have woken to find my gear not touched, I heard roomers too, but to be honest i have seen nothing.
