Cool Day Trip to THORPE PARK !! Sun 18th September

http://www.thorpepark.co.uk/default.asp

Oh yes the year was nearly slipping by without a visit to a Theme Park !!

We have done the Chessington thing twice , So time for a change !!

Sunday 18th September is the Day !!!

The park is open from 10am Till 5pm , So of course a little nearer the time , The convoy will be arranged

I Do not really want to get involved with the Group booking , As have enough money to collect @ Meets already without this , Unless anyone else would like to take charge of the group booking ?

If not then just click on the link above & Order your tickets ..

Never been here before myself but have heard various positive feedback from lots of members of the crew , Who say it really is a great day out

If it is that good , Then perhaps we could return for one of there Halloween Fright Night's Later in the year ..

I Will contact Thorpe park Direct & Try to arrange some nice allocated scooby parking just for us

Please add you name to the list below if you wish to attend ..

good idea but the last time i was at thorpe park
four weeks ago it was terrible
almost got into two fights in the queue lines over pushing in
staff did not want to get involved
eventually the pushers were chucked out
they were only waiting for me outside
not good when you're with the wife and kids
give me chessington any day

I haven't been to Thorpe park for years , alot of people have told me its ideal for the younger children (NOT SO MANY FAST RIDES). Also chessington are doing buy 1 adult ticket and a child goes free, I will double check that to make sure.

I went to Thorpe park last year and really enjoyed...admittedly i thought it would be pants but was plesantly surprised with the amount of rides that made you dizzy for a good few minutes after you got off. Obviously the best is Alton Towers but i feel it is too much to drive there and back in one day and if stayed at hotel then it makes it a lot more expensive especially when there are kids etc....

I'm not fussed either Thorpe Park or Chessington - prefer Chessington though Professor Burps Bubble Works!!!!

Don't listen to Chris too much - I certainly don't

Oh yes indeed my thoughts exactly

Lets just have a resonably priced day out for all the family , The ALTON TOWERS Idea is good though , But needs to be made into a weekend event , This is not feesable @ The Minute ( To much going on ) Perhaps we will make an ESC Weekender to Alton Towers in 2006

So lets just go to CHESSINGTON then & Have another wicked day out !!

Please do not post on this thread anymore then & i will start a fresh one with CHESSINGTON In the title !!

Will off course keep the date the same though
