Who can teach me to launch
Not too sure on this one, last time i tried a few times, I was in Extreme have new clutch put in.
Keep reading so much on the do's and dont's, need one of the PRO'S to show me the way.
Anyone?

Bring the revs up, bite the clutch, press the right peddle and leave all the others alone
Breath deeply and inhale the smell of sweet money (Burnt clutch)
Orgasms at this point. LOL

Sounds rather crude to me, but hey. Other people are making such a song and dance of it, go to these revs then slip clutch then do this then do tat etc etc.
Just feel a little wary of burning up my nice new clutch, but would love to have a go at 1/4 mile without looking like a tw@t.

i found taking her to about 5/5500rpm then side steppting the clutch gave a perfect start. I did a 13.8 in a fairly standard UK classic which is dam good.
must warn you though the clutch dosent last too long when you do this

6000 rpm, let the clutch up while depressing hard on the accelerator, all 4 wheels will light up & off you go.
I do not recommend this as about 5 goes of this & your standard clutch will be butter.... come to think of it a competition clutch won't be far behind

i just blip the peddle, then try and time it so that as soon as i see the main yellow lights i boot it and bring the clutch up, the car bites and goes. Ive done 26 drag launchs in my car to date (all dont in a similar way) and a full track day. There is still not a hint of slip on a stock clutch at 300/290lbft ish.....13.3 in an 03 WRX.
