On the way to work this morning and gave it a brief burst (in a 30 limit so nothing major) to get a tailgater off my back only to find it in limp home mode with the engine warning light on.
(Luckily, the tailgater immediately pulled off as I gave it the beans so that wasn't too embarrassing
)
Initially I tried changing my map without any noticeable difference and then pulled over and used my phone with OBDII Torque Pro to diagnose the above which indicates a possible battery issue http://www.obd-codes.com/p0607
I tried restarting it without luck and I checked a few things including the voltage options in Torque and after a few minutes with the engine off I tried again and it worked

I cleared the error and continued my journey without further issue.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the actual problem was so I can try to avoid it happening again?
