PPP Exhaust Confirmation Help
hello all,
I'm having trouble finding out exactly what the PPP exhaust on a 2005 sti should consist of. I have searched high and low and there doesn't seem to be any confirmation with pictures. I have found the following picture but would like confirmation if this is a true ppp exhaust system. The picture seems to be missing a mid pipe, what should this look like? does it have a resonator or just a straight pipe?
any help would be much appreciated
regards

basically i'm trying to find out if my car has the ppp fitted. i have been told it has but was not given the certificate on purchase so am uncertain. i have had a look under the car and i have this rear silencer and mid silence (the lower one in the picture above) stupidly i didn't note what the cat looked like.
between the two section in the above picture i have a straight through pipe.
i thought there would be loads of threads showing the complete prodrive system but i cant find any

ring any subaru dealer & give them your VIN number they can check it.
going by exhaust isnt much use but if your downpipe looks like this
then it dont have a PPP

I'm in a similer situation as u, I had my car on the rolling road and it made 307bhp which I couldn't belive because mine has never been mapped and from what I can see, hasn't got the PPP. I'm trying to get intouch with Subaru and ask for the factory spec when mine was new

trying? just ring a dealer and ask them to look it up for you.
look in your service history....find dealer that was used....ring dealer
"Hi im looking some information on a car you used to service......"
generally works. i was able to find out that mine wasnt a PPP but was infact one of the subaru press cars when the spec d was launched
you can email subaru uk also - DealerRelations@imgroup.co.uk - but you might have to chase them for a response! i got a Spec D specification & technical data sheet out of them.
