Default ESL mapping

I've been looking to remap my 1998 turbo, i was told i can now remap ECU by purchasing a daughter board as below

http://www.enduringsolutions.com/

Then getting this fitted and mapped by a mapper, have i got my facts correct?

Is there anything else i need to know?

I have just fitted ESL myself, defo the way to go. Awesome piece of kit and at a decent price too. Andy Stevens is super helpful as well. He's the man to get in touch with.

Oh and my car is a 97 Turbo 2000 with the 8S ECU.

At that price range apexi or esl

Slightly more for alkatek

Then the bigger money syvecs motec gems aem
Plenty of options budget allowing

If you are getting a mapper to map it might as well see what they like to work with / recommend for your targets , and go from there

If its a DIY map you can get Andy on here (Andy Stevens)

Or you can contact your chosen mapper directly and go through them.

There are other options like alcatek but foe the cost the ESL is a no brainer.

Getting more and more popular also.
