Default Remap on Tuesday!!

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!! My baby goes to Andy Forest on Tuesday for stage 2 map. Its a 2003 wrx with:

Walbro
Decat everything (2.5")
K&N Filter
Platinum Plugs
Sti Intercooler
Sti scoop and undertray
Sti red shocks and springs
Front brembo's
Blob eye sti wheels
TD05
Forge actuator with red spring
565 hawkeye sti injectors
Whiteline rear arb and drop links

I know I should have bought an STI in the first place but too far invested now. So in for a penny .........

Looking for between 320-340bhp and huge, HUGE grin factor.

Got it back today. 345 bhp!! Woo hoo. Very different to TD04. Less of an immediate punch which is a shame. It would have been good to keep that. However... HOWEVER when the boost does come in at 3,200rpm its time to hold on until the redline or the road or your confidence ends. Its awesome. Much faster than before. the td05 doesn't seem to stop pulling. Also bangs and pops on overrun. Mr Forrest has done a very good job.

Yup went for 16. Its a classic one converted to front entry. Had the offer of a VF34 for £300 which is a steal but Andy Forrest advised that the TD05 was the stronger of the two and packed just as much punch.

Andy is a great guy, mine was up to him last Thursday for a remap. Had a great run up and back. Mine made around 340bhp as well mate. Some jump in power isn't it?

Matthew, it develops max bhp at 6200 rpm. Comed on boost at approximately 3200. In 4th and 5th gear it just doesn't stop. Young its a massive difference. Different car. Need to relearn how to drive it. If you blip throttle to keep revs up between gears its brutal.

Brutal is the best way to describe it lol

Id not like too much more power in a road Impreza TBH. I understand now when people say cars get too fast for the road. Mine is really twitching in the wet now

I am booked in with Andy on the 18th October. My car was mapped by him previously before I purchased it. It now has a rebuilt engine using a 2.5 Sti bottom end with a few other tweaks. Looking forward to the session and see how the car turns out.
