Default TD05H 20g upgrade help plz

I have a 2004 wrx currently with a swapped jdm sti ej20. But we had some problems. So I bought a brand new jdm ej20 bottom end ,we rebuilt the heads. Everything else is stock, injectors, pumps, sti intercooler. Bought aTD05H 20g without much research. Just wondering if I can bolt it on and still drive the car daily or do I HAVE to do all the other mods before I drive it. Its been quite the expensive project already. Swapping the udsm 2.0 to the jdm sti 2.0 took a lot of time and money. So now I just want the car on the road. But am concerned that without other mods I may blow something. So I guess I'm asking can I bolt theTD05H 20g and drive it without any other mods?
Thanks

Thanks. Would i be okay to run it with the stock injectors and pump for a while or is it a must right away? I am.new to this whole project type thing. So how would I go about remapping it?

It would depend on what is available locally to you. More importantly the experience of the mapper with whatever system you choose. So best to see if anyone locally can recommend someone.

If you want to be safe, disconnect the wastegate actuator (easy) until you get it mapped. It will then run no/very little boost.
That's what I did.
Too much boost + lean mix = blown engine.

That's a bit wrong. If you simply disconnect the wastegate you'll actually get maximum boost possible from the turbo which will be a problem. If you want to run the lowest boost then you need to join the wastegate actuator directly to the turbo compressor outlet pipe.

Unless you're talking about taking the rod off the actuator in which case you're right.

Open Source remap will be cheapest, followed by ecutek, followed by aftermarket. If you are completely out of money you could bolt the turbo on and map to the limits of the other components and it will go better than stock, but you won't be taking full advantage of the turbo.
