Default 97 turbo 2000 ecu

hi. I'm on my first Impreza. Need some advice/help. My boss has a larger top mount intercooler but I've been told i need a remap for engine to run right. I've been told i need a new ecu as mine isn't mappable. Help please?!?!

Iv got the same problem. Mine has been de catted and needs a re map

Mines been de-catted with induction kit and Scooby clinic at chesterfield told me it wont need a remap for that but will need one for bigger intercooler. 295 for live map sounds like a winner to me

I did have a quote for 250 near me and 275 with a rolling road run

Scooby clinic want £900 for new ecu. When i only paid 1200 for car that sort of money isn't on the radar. 300 is doable even if they just get it to run right with bigger intercooler on so don't do big damage to engine.

300 is just for the ecu with daughterboard fitted, youre probably going to need 200 ish on top for mapping, part of the reason ive not got round to it yet on my MY97, 500 quid is a lot of money for not much gain on a standard engine, id want at least a td05, injector change and a few other bits to make it value for money.

Not going down that route as I've been offered a wrx classic for 1000.
