Default 440 cc injectors power gain???

hi there im looking at buying some 440cc injectors from a version 4 to go into my classic version 2 as an upgrade, anyone no if this is an upgrade worth going for? and what else I would need to fit them as I understand I don't think they are a direct fit? any advice or help would be great fully received...thanks!!

You'll need a remap on a standalone ecu or ESL daughter board if upgrading injectors...big money!, if your looking for more than 300 bhp then you'll need the 440's they will do up to approx 360/370bhp all depends..

No mate, you need a standalone ecu like alot of modified scoobys are running now, or if you have an early classic v1 or v2 you can get a chip installed or an ESL Daughterboard which can be mapped like a standalone ecu.

You do realise that fitting these alone won't net you more power?

Yep big problem. You can't run that set up with a z4 ecu bud. You will need esl board fitted or an apexi ecu an commander. You can also get alcatec or simtek for early cars as well I'm sure. Needs an aftermarket ecu to be mapped correctly for that sort of set up for sure.

Mate if your going to be running a 20G dont put in the 440's, put in the later pink 550 sti injectors! this way it will leave you head room and if you decide you want more power you will be able to run it! And yes as said above an aftermarket stand alone ECU is a MUST then when all put together get the car mapped and hopefully it will be running a dream

well I believe mine is already a tdo5 16g? correct me if I am wrong and have been informed that going for the larger 20g could be more hassle than it s worth.
