Ok need to pick the brains of you guys who know more than I do. Long story short, i have an 03 WRX running a few mods running around 336bhp,bottom end failed, sourced a low mileage standard 03 WRX engine, having everything swapped over from the knackered engine onto the newer one, everything but the uprated oil pump. Have been advised sensibly to have it remapped once its all up and running again which will be in a couple of weeks.

Now here's my question for you mapper guys:-it's currently running an
Andy Forester Remap dual switchable maps & ECUTek liecence. I live in Northampton so wanted to know, can I take it to any decent subaru mapper locally and plug in and set me up again an what would the cost be roughly?

Yep any ecutek dealer can map it. Just not af's map. They would wipe it and load there own map. No licence fee to pay though.

Will I still be able to keep the dual switchable maps as this is ideal for plodding around town which is 80% of my driving time, should be the other way round but kids in the car means no heavy right foot
