Default Ecutek maf delete

Have i read right that you can now run without the maf with Ecutek?

if so what do you need to do to be able to do it?

You can't run MAF delete on the classic or earlier New age,you can only run MAF delete on later DBW New age models

For earlier New Age option is CarBerry ROM or aftermarket ECU,for classic too aftermarket ECU only,hopefully ESL will be available in no time too for 99-00 models,which in the end will/is better option than expensive EcuTek,which have like limits and don't give people too much choices

hawkeye wrx in this case, which i believe is dbw unless someone can advise different?

Speak with yours mapper or EcuTek dealer,I'm sure Hawkeye WRX is DBW and you can have there EcuTek RaceROM

its dbw and you can run the ecutek race rom.

Depending on which ecu the car ahs, you can also run open source SD.

Any specific reason why you're looking to run MAP over MAF?

Last car blew 2 during mapping on a vf34 so always been very warey of them since then.

Fortunately the Newage MAF isn't anything like as fragile as the 99 model which if I am correct you had before ?
However, using Ecutek Racerom on the DBW cars allows you to choose MAF based or Speed density.

You can run OS speed density rom (carberry) on a non-DBW
