Final throws of testing at the moment and is literally imminent... seen it working and been testing with ESL... it is WELL worth waiting for. Especially with the full traction control element too !

This isnt just a pops and bangs add on - it is a highly advanced set up for competition use so takes some time to get 100% ready for release.

ps - I cant wait either and was nagging ESL today

Always progress.

Some very good testing of the traction control in the snow to be precise and it is special to say the least

You keep saying traction control instead of launch control, is this system slightly different ie wheel speed sensors or similar?

Cheers

The details will be revealed in due course but they are two elements of the same thing. Really launch is about getting maximum traction possible from a standing start so go hand in hand rather than just an arbitary rev limit for launching

I have a mafless ESL on my auto Impreza
I can use the rev limiter on my MSD ignition for launching - I can't use launch control on the ESL, as it's auto box.
Could this traction control revision, to the ESL, be any help to me?

Hi there

On Autobox you will need different ECU which can allow you have LC

I know on Syvecs is possible to do so,just you will need speak with Ryan/Pat about the wiring TCU to the ECU

Few people successfully running autobox(Toyota and few others) with Syvecs

Hi Mark

Speak with Pat or Ryan/Charlie from Syvecs(or just sign up on the Syvecs forum and post the question there)

Works Bell Paddle Shifter nice one, working with yours box without the problem or you will need this wire up to the TCU?

Pre '97 transmission - no manual mode; so paddle shifter is wired through TCU.

Anyone? I don't know much about traction/torque control systems. I now know Syvecs uses wheel speed sensors. How might this ESL torque control system work?

C'mon people when will ESL have these new features, I've hooded off hoping for it to be soon but tbh I'm sick of waiting and thinking of different routes at the incredibly slow rate the ESL is being developed! Lol

I'm pretty sure for the later model cars the feature is Very near. I sure for the money you will save with the ESL setup a little wait till be well worth it!!

Having looked at the ESL option and speaking to JGM recently I feel a bit embarrassed that I assumed it was only recently been planned and developed.
