Default Sti remap

Hi everyone..Currently have a 05 sti with a ppp and i love the car..been thinking of a remap for some time now can anyone advise me on how different the car feels? Thanks

More torque and power. Better midrange and possible a little more mpg

Thanks..I've heard that although Prodrive state that the PPP gives 305bhp this is quite rare and most cars produce less..when mine is remapped it should be 330-340bhp which will probably feel like a different car.

How much has he quoted you?? Do u get rolling road printouts of before and after??

£300 and that's for the car being mapped on the road..so no print outs

Andrew Carr comes highly recommended, don't worry about printouts I'd be more worried about how it feels on the road

Wot mods u got and wot kind of figures has he estimated for you to expect??

Both steve simpson and andrew carr have excellent reviews and both know wot there talkin bout, both charge the same, confused me a bit now of who to go to, wheres andrew carr based, does he do mobile mapping, anyone got a contact email address for him so i can contact him?? but on the other side of it steve simpson mapped the subaru that holds the world record on the isle of man tt course. decisions, decisions

Had my blob sti ppp mapped by Andy Carr best money I've spent on the car
rcm headers/up-pipe sports cat (standard ppp one) scoobyclinic exhaust 350/335 and the launch control is something else
much better car all-round better response mid range

OK here goes
I had my old 05STI PPP remapped by Andy Forrest many years ago.
Heres how I found the PPP car.

My thoughts were that nothing much happened until after 3,500rpm(closer to 4,000rpm in reality) and then its sort of runs out of puff after 5,500rpm which doesn't really give you much of a band to work with.

After remap, it pulls very strongly from 2,700rpm until 6,500rpm
Actually it held 1.4bar until 7K, but I don't really think there's any point revving it further than say 6.5ish - best just grab another gear instead.
It much more drivable generally.
e.g previously you may have needed to drop down a gear for some reason whereas afterwards you can just leave it alone.

Yeah this is what I have found with the ppp..will be getting mine remapped this week.
