I've read on a few forums that the 7D ecu used in the classic wrx peaks its boost at 11.47psi, but for same year car with Prodrive upgrade it peaks at 13.64psi or same as Sti 6k ecu.
How can you tell the difference between the two ecu's?

you may want to know the 7d ecu has a socket for after market chips, i.e polar performance/eclipse etc already attached to the circuit board.
