Scooby won't run when warm???
Hi there iv got a 94 wrx it's got loads a extras on it apexi FC stand alone ecu, hks front mount, 3" decat, uprated fuel pump, apexi boost controller, and lotsa other bits too, I haven't had the car long and it's run fine since iv had it until the other day on the way from work after bout 4mile of driving it started spluttering, and wouldn't drive as though it had choked up, there was a strong smell of fuel and after pulling over it ticked over fine but wouldn't rev, it was coughing, spluttering and backfiring under any throttle then cut out and wouldn't restart.
I left it for 20 mins while I made calls, started it again and it drove fine agin for another mile then it all reoccurred again resulting in me being towed home. This morn came out off a cold start, started her up it revved ticked over fine etc until it reached running temp then it did it all again until cutting out again! Has anyone got any ides or suggestions?
Thanks
Char

I thought about crank sensor, also thought coolant temp sensor as its giving the effect of flooding when engines at running temperature, will have a ring round in new year, it's hard to find anyone round here that can plug into the apexi ecu
Thanks
