Default P0011 and P0244

So as I said in my ‘first post’, im unable to use the car, but for my own peace of mind and understanding I thought I’d ask the questions. So here goes.
2008 WRX hatch. Cosworth airfilter, Unknown BOV and part powerflow exhaust with a smashed out sports cat (had no idea about this till I got the timing belt done).
Driving for one week and the EML came on, boost cut etc etc. Plugged in and found P0011. Haven’t owned a Subaru for a long time (18 years or so) so had to read up. Due to work, I was unable to work on it myself so I’ve put it into a garage who own their own and should know about them, firstly to get timing belt and water pump as I had no idea whether it was done or not, and the car is on 88k. Whilst in there he informed me of the homemade exhaust decat and that they’d repaired a broken oil feed badly, so he fixed that too.
Now I know it probably needs a remap, due to the mods, but on the way home, more boost cut and eml. 50mph in 5th and P0244 code this time.
I have a little knowledge, I’ve had an engine out of a classic before, and worked on plenty cars over the years. But after speaking to a few tuning places, and having different opinions, my heads battered 😂.
Is it likely that the homemade decat and induction is causing most of this? Or should I just give up and send it back (it’s on finance and I genuinely need a car for work, can’t afford to leave it lying around and pay for loads of repairs etc)
spent 535 quid yesterday on the timing belt, water pump etc and I’m unlikely to get that back, so looking at my options and also trying to understand… in case I get a better one

Forgot to mention that the mechanic did say, that due to the mods he expected that the light would come back on at some point. I was kind of prepared for that, but not so quick!

Looks like you may have an AVCS and boost solenoid problem.
