Default Who is best for a remap

Hi I have just had work done to my blob eye WRX and it now needs to be remapped I don’t who is the best at this, I have spoken to FB tuning but have only just been told that this would be done on the road and not on a dyno. What is the best method? Who is the best remapper? I live in Milton Keynes and don’t want to have to travel really far. Any advise would be well received.

FB is very good. You won’t find a trustworthy mapper nearer to you. Nothing wrong with road mapping - opinions vary but it’s arguably better than dyno mapping as it’s done in real-world conditions.

Richard does have a very good reputation, he's mapping my spec c next week. My other impreza was mapped by Bob Rawle in Swindon, also road mapped and it's very good.
The main issue with dyno mapping is you cannot generate the airflow you do on the road, so any dyno mapper should always take it out for a road tweak before handing you the keys back anyway.
I've not used TDR for mapping but I hear Mark is good too.

how to open up a can of worms in one question,,, lol

Who ever you go for stay well away from racedynamix aka duncan greame. AKA Dungkhan AKA race'dung'namix and stay away from RCM (cos he does their mapping)

best is subjective , one person can have a awesome experience and think it was all great and another can have nothing but issues so some times you have to go with what you know is best for you

iv used bob Rawle for year and years on loads of subarus without any issues so I think he is great and after using him for so long we have got to know each other very well , but that doesn't mean he is the best fro everyone it just means he works for me and the cars I take to him

if bob wasn't around im honestly not sure who I would go to first but I know who I wouldn't lol

Not going to recommend a mapper (don't want to get into that here lol) but what I will say is try getting a mapper who works through a garage. You never know what issues could crop up on map day. And the last thing you want is a mapper to try and map around them. In theory they shouldn't do that.
