DIX is the correct PPP ecu for MY99 & 00 cars so is plug n play.

if you had better pics you would see if the ecu cover screws still had the red wax on them which would at least be a tell tale sign its still original PPP ecu underneath the cover - though red wax isnt exactly hard to fake either.

if you are buying through ebay then just pay paypal and if its not a genuine ecu just claim it back - you'll know as soon as you plug it in & drive it if its real or not

Custom map ain't worth the money on a td04 turbo'd classic

having went down the prodrive ECU in my old classic nearly 10yrs ago I'd say it's easily the best value for money on a my99/00 classic

depends on the price of the ECU tho - if they are lookin' the guts of £300-£350 quid for an ECU then a custom map is worth considering in my opinion:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IM...-/193048579133

even if its just to ask the mapper to load the PPP rom onto the ECU it would be cheaper than that.

thats an interesting one - being such a late fit date - 2005. Where did you get that ecu from?

first owner bought this ecu(i guess normally ppp is for only UK i'm in TR)

owner said in 2005 prodrive engineer came to Turkey and engineer made revision to new generation sti maps and, brought this ecu with him.

but i'm not sure does ecu have same map or not. car also has prodrive cat back and prodrive silicone turbo elbow

yeah i had seen you are based in turkey - do you have a boost gauge in car? Prodrive map will boost to 1.1bar instead of 0.9bar standard.

i have profec b, and i set .9 standart pressure and 1.1 high pressure, but i guess i can remove profec

when car was have 5 speed gearbox, it's faster than newage sti, now car has 6 speed drivetrain and sti brakes it's little heavy i can't measure/feel exact performance
