Hi all,

I recently bought a forester (2005 2.5t) off a friend cheap. Its had a faulty air pump for a couple of years with no side effects . Rather than do the delete kit I thought I might as well just leave it (usually stick closed) in and get the codes disabled rather than just clearing for the MOT.

i thought this would be easy but seems from my research you need a tactrix cable or similar? I don’t want to spend £200 on a cable or a full remap as car didn’t cost much more!

Guessing there must be someone here that could disable a couple of codes near me (im near to Staines, Surrey/Berkshire)? Happy to pay - just not remap prices.
