Default Bov, Dump Valve etc help

Ive read so may different threads on replacing the standard bov and so confused now I really dont know what to believe?

Should it be changed or kept standard?
Does it need to be changed on being remapped?
Which is the correct/peferred one if so?

standard one will do the job unless your setup is extreme - if you want a bit more noise you can switch it out for a quality aftermarket one. Note the "quality" bit there - a 10.99 one off ebay will give you terrible running problems but a genuine good quality unit will work just fine.

i've had good success with genuine HKS SSQV (watch out there are a lot of copies about that suck), forge and Bailey DV12. Plenty of horror stories about the ebay crap ones though

Default bov

if you have any doubt about the standard bov leaking -blank off the outlet hose-
if boost increases replace it
