Default Poor hot starting 330s

Hello, I am having a little bother with 08 plate 330s. Just had an engine rebuild but having a warm/hot starting issue. Car starts fine from cold then if I go for a drive for about 10 miles or more switch car off for 10 mins then restart the engine it turns over and over for a while before it starts up, if I leave the car after a run to cool right down it will start off the button no problem. Have changed cam and crank sensors, done compression and leakdown tests. Not sure what else to try, when car is running it runs great just not very good at starting when warm, any ideas would be great!!!!

Hi, thanks for the tip, changed temp sensor and still no joy, have noticed fuel smell when the engine takes its time to start.

How long is it taking to start ? Are you priming the pump first or just jumping in putting your foot on the clutch and pushing the start button ?,, when I got my 330 the chap told me to go though the ignition sequence then start the car as it allows the pump time to prime ,,, if I just jump in and try to start it it will also take a few extra seconds to start but if I let the pump prime first it starts first push

Hello, yes letting the pump prime, it will only do it after the car has been on a run, if its started when cold and left to warm up without driving anywhere until the cooling fan cuts in and out then it will start every time, take out on the road for 4 miles and it gets difficult to start?

Hi, have you spoke to who built the car engine and see what they say, has it happened all since the build.. or have you been ok then it's started?
