Default Error code reader

Was looking around on ebay for an error code reader and saw this,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331223652052

Has anyone used this?

Could be s**t but looks kinda cool, see whats going on the fly with your engine.

What readers are people using there seems to be loads and I just want to see if there are any codes on mine and clear them if there are, see if they come back and go from there............

Yes and I think there is a similar app compatible to the Iphone.

The app pictured in the listing is dash command. I Have it it works well. Only gripe I have is that the communication via Bluetooth is too slow. Great for data logging and diagnostics but real time info is about 30 seconds too late

+1 for Torque (Pro or the free 'lite' version).
I believe there's an issue with iphones being shi'te and the Bluetooth not able to cope with working as, um, Bluetooth. I've never tried, wouldn't want to. Works great on a proper phone though! As said Bluetooth is a relatively slow connection but fine for light logging, error code reading/clearing , 0-60's...
What car do you have? It won't work on Classics (they're not OBD compliant) but ecuexplorer does and is a better tool. Its free and used with a cheapo ebay Vagcom cable. Can also use SSM free with that cable too.
