I am hoping to get some advice on cold air intakes that fit my Forester. I have a 2001 Japanese Forester S/Tb STI II. I know there are available options here in Japan, but anything modification related (like an intake) are way over priced... and I mean way over priced. When I search online I can find options, but nothing that lists the EJ20 2 liter engine, or it lists the EJ20 engine, but never the right year.

Just wondering if anyone knows what other model or year is comparable so I can find some parts that I know will fit?

From what ive been reading, the forester you have has a maf that isn't very good to begin with.And in a lot of things ive been reading it is said to keep the std airbox on for protection for the maf to stop the dirt getting in and messing it up.I am in the same boat also
