GEMS ECU - WRX to UK Turbo2000
Gents, This may be a silly question, but I have been offered a GEMS ECU from a friends WRX which I was looking to use on my (same year - 1998/V4) UK Turbo 2000.
From what I have read I believe the T2000 and WRX have a slight difference in the pin outs from the ECU with regards to the Cam/Crank sensors. My question is, assuming I have the same mods the WRX had, and ignoring the slightly different Cam profiles and therefore flow of the heads between the 2 cars, will it even work as a "plug & play" swap - Or will it need to be altered to accommodate the difference in signal input from the cam and crank sensors?
Cheers in advance to anyone that could shed any light on this!
