ESL 1.2 info
Anyone have any info on the ESL 1.2? Got a chance at getting one for a good price, but I know the newest version is 2.0 so obviously it wont be as awesome as the latest greatest version.

It's a physically different board, but the main difference is the app software, which is DOS based and not widely available now. It has been unsupported for some time and my struggle with a modern OS.
No MAF/MAFless switch, no twin maps and no motorsport features but still has knock control, closed loop idle, diagnostics, 3d boost, etc.
Obviously a still a better spec than an Apexi PFC, but you will have to find a tuner with the early software.

Just have to do some research on tuners in the UK who can do ESL. I've heard of Jolly Green, Zen, and that's about it really. All I have done to my car is a turbo back fully catless/deatschwerks fuel pump and just looking to get a basic remap nothing crazy.

I personally think the extra for the v2.0 is worth paying. If you get it in a package deal you may find there isn't much difference as the mapper will charge extra to map a secondhand board as they have lost their dealer margin. There is also a multichannel logger on the v2.0 which the 1.2 doesn't have which may be problematic if something needs to be pinpointed. Duncan at RaceDynamix definitely has the old software but will probably echo the above.
