I used the lc-1 in my last wrx and now have the newer lc-2 in the type r. Both were fine and gave accurate reading when used and both have bosch sensors. Not sure about the other brands but the innovate ones you can log from, just stay away from the mtx versions if datalogging is on the wish list.

It a mainly for monitoring. Not too fussed on the logging side, just like to know everything is fine and dandy

I've had the PLX AFR, and have the Stack now (Switched my original clocks to a Stack 8130, so the PLX had to go in favour of a Stack)
Both of them work perfectly, the Stack has slightly more adjustability (but those extra's are overkill for your use)

The Innovate sometimes has problems with the power supply, they prefer a direct fused line to the battery, whereas most others work perfectly even if you just take the 12v from the radio harness or other handy 12v source.

got the lc1 with xd16 in one and mtx-l in another. The mtx-l has never been an issue, the older setup has needed reset one or twice. Both used for data logging.

LC2 Innovate with DB gauge has been good so far in the Impreza for me. The LC 1 in my T5 850 was in for ayear of hard mapping and performed flawlessly with an XD 16 gauge. The LSU bosch sensors can be temperamental to position after turbos so get your positions correct on installation regardless of brand chosen.

Good question Jake. I've just had a quick read around as I'm also interested in an AFR gauge. I found this one on ebay which seems like a good price, looks nice and would suit your requirements of having a red display. I watched an 1100bhp supra video on youtube the other day and the guy had the exact same gauge in it.

PS I like your JDM Sti Spec C Really nice pal!
