Default Donuts in a Type R

As above can you do these without damaging the car??

Do you need to adjust the DCCD?

There's a risk of overheating the rear diff and wearing out the plates. Had to rebuild mine.

How often did you do it though? How many times you go round?

As a one off should it be ok?

Didn't do it that often but who knows how about the previous owners. Yeah a one off should'nt be that bad and I still get a bit childish sometimes. It's also bad for CV joints on the front axle. Keep the DCCD in open.

Well very odd the car it still going then. Should be on top of the scrap heap by now.

I'm not sure if people just say its back because of its nature or whether there is actual facts to back these things up.

I won't be testing in my car to find out though!

play with type r on a wet grassy field you can adjust the dccd and you see the car reactions change... no damage to the car
dccd off the car will swap ends very easy roll the diff lock forward and you can get to awesome sideways drift

do not use difflock on tarmac
