Default Volvo 340 STi Drift Car Project

I had spent 2 months creating my beloved Volvo 340 STi in March and April.
It started life as someone's daily run about..................till I had it decided to throw a valve and cease! .........

I had a quick think and seeming:

1. I had a two nakered cars

2. I Love Scoobies

And wanted a specificly built drift car I DID THIS....

Its Specs so far are:

Engine

2.0 V2 Closed Deck Block
Full ACL Bearings
Forged Rods
STi Crank
STi Pistons
2.0mm Cometic Gaskets
V5 Heads
Standard turbo and Air supply
Full De-cat Magnex Exhaust
Alloy Race Radiator

Running Gear and Misc

Turbo 2000 Full Bulk head/chassis legs/tunnel
Turbo 2000 Steering Rack
Cusco Fully adjustable Coil overs inc Top mounts
Standard turbo 2000 Rear running gear
Welded large sport 'open' Diff
'95 GL 15" 5 spoke wheels
'95 WRX adjustable bucket seats

Original fuel tank reloacted into rear of car.

New safety Fuel cell needed along with swirl pot and pump.
Half Cage with front strengtheners in planning stage.
New 4 Point harnesses also being sourced.

It has been used for two events and works brilliant, but needs small things refining!

1. More steering lock
2. Half cage
3. Fuel cell, Pump and swirl pot
4. Harnesses
5. tidy up bent bodywork

I got caught out when i was 18 (I'll admit i was in-experienced) the rear end stepped out and i rolled up a hedge then landed back on the road upside down.

The Car is running and drifts once a month and is an animal, I just need to carry out the 5 extra things for it to be 100%.

Heres a few pics (first 3 pictures is running on standard suspension before i fitted the coilovers)

Hi Drifting has come along way in the last few years in britain and even though im in the west of wales theres loads of interest. Theres a Drift organising group called http://www.Drift-inc.co.uk. We are trying to steer away from tramp drifting and get more pro with specificly built drifters.
