Tracking your MY08/09?
Some tp tips I picked up from the Castle Combe ARDS instructors who ran 3 MY08 STis (and blew the egines on them all)
1) Check the oil levels - very prone to oil surge on track
2) Never run with less than 1/3 full tank. High speed left had bends cause a fuel pressure drop and at full boost the engine runs dangerously lean (I experienced this as a loss of power!)
3) Lose the dust shileds on the front brakes. very prone to over heating
4) hope you have the revised map and pistons
hmmmm

What I heard....
A few reports of early cars having "relatively" poor quality cast pistons and or poorly defined map that failed to adequately prevent detonation in certain circumstances.
I can find no evidence that the piston spwec has changed, however there is a ground swell around the map eveolving over time.
Am hoping that having the PPP map will offer some protection from the original UK map issues.

Some are running 380 but have re-builds planned for the future...(we will see how the stock pistons have stood up to the test then).
In the mean time I'd not push it past 350-360
