Default turbo problem

hi i've just got a S reg subaru impreza turbo 2000 uk spec and when accelarating it feels as if the turbo is restricted and cuts out at 4500, 5000 rpm can any one help me solve this problem of what it is.

boost solinoid may need a clean with WD40, worked for me a few years back on a ppp uk 98.

Yes as above or is it overboosting causing fuel cut? (Fuel cut is very aggresive when driving fast). Do you have a boost gauge fitted if so what is your boost reading?

at what boost does a wrx newage hit fuel cut.

See below standard boost levels, Fuel cut is usually +15% so around 15.65 psi.

Impreza WRX 2001-2002
ECU Code AF530 : 13.61psi
ECU Code AF531 : 13.61psi


Impreza WRX 2003-2004
ECU Code AH751 : 13.61psi
ECU Code AH750 : 13.61psi
