Default more glossary terms

As I don't have a definitive explanation for them I'll start a new thread and then hopefully they will be added to the sicky when someone gives a decent definition...

I'm going on a airfield training day organised by 1stLotus in July where I will be taught (amongst other things) modulated braking, rotational steering, trail braking, trail lifting.

Can someone explain what these are?

Cheers
Gary.

Modulated Braking - Don't know Cadenance Braking? Threshold Braking? Anyone?
Rotational Steering - Holding the wheel at quarter to 3 as opposed to using push pull
Trail Braking - Braking 'late' into a bend. So you carry more speed and induce a certain amount of oversteer by shifting weight over the front and therefore altering the postion of the car for exit of the bend through the use of a certain amount of controled oversteer.
Trail Lifting - I assume is this is lifting off the acelerator to induce engine braking and move weight to the front again

Best Wishes
Steve

I am sure someone can give you a better description of trailbraking
