Anybody fitted one. What do you think? I was toying with the idea of having it fitted when the car goes in next week.

Regards,

Mr M,I had one fitted by main dealer to my UK300, advertised as 35% reduction in travel. Cost £240 including fitting, makes quite a difference in my oppinion, worth it if you have the spare cash.
I just drove a WRX loan car without the quickshift and this reminded me of this difference, wouldn't go back.

Its good - but spend the £340 elsewhere unless you can afford it...

By the way - theres nothing like a 35% reduction!!! It was much more noticable on the classic shape cars...

I had the quick shift thrown in by my salesman (got it fitted during the first service) and it makes a definite difference. having said that, i am not sure if that would be the first thing i'd change for that kind of money. also, not quite convinced about the 35% reduction in travel but it is certainly "feels" more precise(?) now. enjoy!

Geez, you guys are being ripped off.... We developed a kit for a MY01 for around 40bucks (pounds). We used to pay much more...

Pity I'm in South Africa though...

Why not try the Momo gear ****, about 50 notes from H**fords, it noticeably shortens the throw and looks good too
