Thumbs up

Yep I have a prodrive quickshift fitted to my UK MY98 turbo. I reckon it shortened the throw by about a third. I have a small momo gear **** on as well which makes it dinkier (is that a word ) as well. I thought it would be strange as first but it felt really natural and just right. Shame it doesnt get rid of the 1st to 2nd notchness though .

I think the MY99 had a reduced throw so the pre MY99 were probably the best cars to have it fitted to.

cheers

chrisp

I've done the same to my MY98, and I agree with Chrisp - much shorter throw, much more positive feel, and worth the money IMHO. May not be so worthwhile from MY99 on.

Ive had it fitted to my MY00 and it shortened the throw but didnt get rid of the 1st and 2nd gear notchiness which is becoming a real pain in the @rse and I am seriously considering selling the scoob because of the lousy gearbox.
