Default Uprated Engine Mounts

Hi all,

I've got a 97 classic Impreza Turbo and finding the engine moves around a little too much for me when changing gear at higher revs. I've never liked sloppy mounts and always upgraded them on previous cars so looking to do the same with the Scooby. However i'm not looking for lots of vibration as this is an everyday car.

I've seen a full gearbox and engine mount set from Hardrace, but wonder if this may be overkill, does the Impreza have one mount that mostly deals with the fore and aft movement?

Thanks for the link, but do I need a full set or will say an uprated pitch mount take away a lot of the slack?

Are silver projects and Vibra Technics engine mounts any good?
Better or the same as torqeu solution or beatruch, cusco.

Hi guys,

Just to report back, i've had the Hardrace mounts fitted now and very happy, perfect for road, literally no extra noise/vibration but all the usual benfits, the car feels much more connected and the gearchange is much better, for a track car you may want to go slightly harder again, but for a daily like mine these are spot on.

Also another very positive experience here with Extreme Scoobies in Essex who fitted them, nice bloke and a smart place, will definitely be going back for all future mods
