Default Need clutch help

Ok so I put a 6 puk paddle clutch in my blob eye running 380 lbft as I'm going for more power ! I hate it with a passion so I'm thinking about a twin or triple plate - how do they drive compared to what I have now ? Any advice would be great !

a bit aggresive those paddle clutchs i.e off on type, you proberly would of been alright with a pink box exedy which are capable of handerling that amount of torque, twin and triple plate exedy clutchs is over kill.SJ.

if you want to future proof and are going for more power, exedy twin plate would do the job and would be needed as a 2.35 will definately produce the power.SJ.

Exedy twin plate is the best option for a 2.35 build and good in customers cars up to 600bhp.

Nice enough to drive, a bit of chatter from the plates when idling. Cost effective long term and they are serviceable. Comes complete with a lightweight flywheel: http://www.superhids.co.uk/clutches-...u-impreza.html

Would also like to know this, But something that can handle 450lb/ft on a built 2.5???? Would like something that drives like the standard clutch, but can take the torque of the 2.5 litre engine!

Whats the diffrents between a normaal clutch or a 6 or 3 paddle clutch.
And are the 6,3paddle clutch's not that good for the gearbox?
Is it more restrain on the gearbox.
