Alan do you have the Prodrive Performance Pack? I take it you have sorted the brakes and handling?

A downpipe would be a good place to start but gives MOT issues when all the cats go.

I can't remember which turbo the MY97 has, but if it is the TD05 then it responds quite well to a boost increase (Dawes), but you will find fuel cut will get in the way of your fun (HKS FCD or DIY ones floating about). If it is the TD04 it still does but to a lesser degree, but some earliers cars have 2 bar MAP sensors which cause problems. A front mount intercooler (because the MY97 intercooler is poor) and remap would finish the job very nicely. Then you would need possibly a new clutch.

Depends what you want to spend and how far you want to go!
