OEM Downpipe = problem heat @ higher boost?

I think the the 'Better than Dawes' thred is getting quite long enough so Iv started a new thread with this question.

I intend to build one of the proposed circuits so I can run higher boost than the default fuel cut. (I'm currently running 1.05 bar with a dawes)
Will the OEM Down pipe (i.e. with a cat) produce noticeably higher heat issues at higher boost?(1.1 to 1.2 bar) As cats are more restrictive, and thus maybe becoming a problem. Especially with summer nearly upon us.

I'd like to thank every one who are pioneering these mods and making their knowledge public.
