You will get arguments either way. I have not tried Millers. Many rate it. NF claim a higher octane increase for the same price, and the ability to add more (up to 5ml/L) for a greater (although diminishing return) increase. I have been using NF for a month or two now, and it runs smoother, and makes me more confident to run a bit more boost. I'm happy enough that I won't be trying Millers. NF comes in a 300ml bottle for about £13 which treats 300 litres at the starting does of 1ml/Litre which typically gives you a gain of about 2 RON with SUL. So it is more concentrated but you have to meausure it out. I have a small (urine sample container but one of the better ones ! - I am a doc) container which handily is about 50 ml which is usually my fill up volume.

Whats best? Using Shell Optimax which im led to believe already has octane booster in or adding booster into super unleaded? I suppose there wont be much in it but wouldnt it work out cheaper to use optimax?

Cool

If you are using 98 then i suggest between 0.75 of a ml to 1 ml per litre.
96 i would suggest the 2 mls and these amounts are the ones if you want to go RACING.
These will give you the best performance and value for money on a STD WRX.
Im not sure if you have read these results but here they are.
95 octane 99kw @ the wheels
95 " plus 1 ml per litre gained 6 kw @ the wheels.
95 " 2 mls 9 kw
95 " 5 mls 7 kw
and shell racing 100 octane gained 1 kw @ the wheels.
Hope this helps.
It seems to be that 99.5 octane gives the best results.ON STD CARS.
If your using more boost then its a pro-rata thing )
