ECU code 31 - cost of Throttle Position Sensor?

Car felt iffy today so ran an ECU daignostic - ecu code 31 appears - f####D Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).
How much are these new and is it easier and cheaper to buy 2nd hand or must it be new (MY97@43,000 miles)
