Just fitted y dawes after all this time YAY, at one stage i foolishly took boost to 18.5 psi, dam it flew, but got fuel cut at WOT in 4th, so i now have it peeking at 17psi and slowly dropping to 16,5

Just didi WOT in 5th up hill (private road) saw about 120mph and no cut nice.

Car is a little faster , verry good.

PROBLEMy dawes make AFR on the way home locked on blue, crusing in 5th, about 60 mph, it just stayed on blue.

I thought the earth may have come loose to parked wiggled my earth(to the battery) got in and it seemed fine, just about to pull in the drive and in comes on again and stays on untill i turn off engin.

Anyone ever seen this before? do i have a faulty unit, or is my lambder up the duff.

Any sugestions ould be very helpfull.

Thanx very much

P.s ive had the AFR fitted for some tie now, and only noticed it tonight, coincidence? it ay have happed before i fitted the daws im not sure

That is not normal. You could take it apart and measure the voltage difference between pin 4 and pin 2 and pin 6 and pin 2 of the LM3914N IC and post your results. Otherwise it might be something as simple as a dodgy connection. Can also hook up a 1.5V battery - connect -ve to car ground, and connect a variable resistor (say 10K or more) across the battery, and then feed the middle tap of the resistor into the AFR to simulate some voltages and see if you can get the lights to go on in turn.

Perhaps easier you could use a DIGITAL (analogue will burn out the lambda sensor) voltmeter and read between the signal input at the AFR and the ground and see what the voltage is.

Check your lambda signal connection. I vaguely remember having a similar problem (fitted it a couple of months ago) which was cured when I made a better connection to the ECU.
