Question

Having read all of the threads on oil I am now completely confused. I was considering two makes of oil, the Mobil 1 15W 50 or the Castrol RS 0W 40. I also heard someone mention Castrol RS 10W 60. Does this really exist or was it a mistype because I cannot find it anywhere. Which of the three oils is the best. I drive mostly on the motorway with some A/B road driving, but whichever it is I drive hard and fast(naughty I know! )

Last question. Is it better to use different grades for the summer and winter and if so which ones.

Cheers

Ed

The Castrol RS 10W/60 does exist. Keep away from the 0W based oils. They are too thin for scoob motors.

The 15W/50 Motul 300V or the Mobile 1 motorsport 15W/50 are fine for winter and summer I believe.

Cheers,

Wrexy.

Try Silkolene Pro S 10W/50

Top quality oil as used by TSL and Scoobysport

Won't use anything else now...
